Integrated Neighbourhood Project Manager

This role will support the Integrated Neighbourhoods Programme across Cambridgeshire South. You will provide transformation support and project management, build relationships with partners, and guide the formation and improvement of Neighbourhood Teams.

Main duties of the job

Provide transformation support and project management for the Integrated Neighbourhoods programme of work.

Review population health data and support public engagement to determine how local citizens want their care and support to improve.

Be responsible for supporting the service redesign and delivery of projects within the Integrated Neighbourhood development team.

Work closely to build relationships and bring partners and communities together to make positive change.

Work in partnership with clinical leaders, acute sector, community services, health commissioners, councils, voluntary and community organisations, and the public to support the development of the service design.

Support the translation of a vision into a coherent operational model and project delivery.

Promote equality and reduce inequalities.

Facilitate partnerships across all partners and support cross‑organisational and cross‑boundary working.

You may line‑manage project support officers and will work closely and collaboratively with the other Integrated Neighbourhood Project and Programme Managers.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level with further training to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent professional experience.
  • Management qualification.

Experience

  • Evidence of successful delivery of an organisation‑wide project in a service improvement role.
  • Experience of planning organisational resources to support programme/project implementation.
  • Business and service planning experience.
  • Experience of service redesign in a health, social care or voluntary sector environment.
  • Co‑design and co‑production.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Experience of Cambridgeshire/Peterborough health and care system.

Knowledge

  • Commissioning, acute, community services, council and voluntary and community sector services.
  • NHS governance.
  • Payment mechanisms between organisations (PbR, QIPP, QOF, acute contracting).

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to foster good working relationships, motivate others and use influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to obtain, analyse and interpret complex data and present this to others through slides/documents.
  • Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritise/respond flexibly to frequently changing demands.
  • Skilled in business process and redesign of services.
  • Understanding of NHS change agenda, tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of NHS information systems.
  • Understanding of clinical audit methodology.
