Office Manager – Logistics & Freight Forwarding

The Role

You’ll be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of a busy transport office, while also playing a key role in developing new and existing business.

  • Managing daily transport and freight forwarding operations
  • Leading and developing a small, close-knit team
  • Driving commercial activity, including trailer reloads and European movements
  • Building strong client relationships and onboarding new business
  • Ensuring compliance with UK-EU customs regulations

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in transport, logistics, or freight forwarding
  • Strong knowledge of UK-EU customs procedures
  • Proven ability in sales or business development
  • Experience managing or supervising staff
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of margins
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills
