The Basics
- Role: Quality Inspector
- Location: Derby
- Shift and Pay: Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 6.00pm (48hrs – days only)
- Hourly Rate: £17.41 per hour / £43,455 per annum + overtime = earnings of £46,000 and upwards achievable
- Overtime: Paid at x1.5 Mon-Sat and double on Sundays

- After every 5 years’ service an extra day holiday up to a maximum of 4 days

Overview
We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to inspect machined and fabricated components with hand‑help measuring tools associated within a precision engineering environment, working in a modern purpose‑built manufacturing facility for a high‑end precision engineering business.
Qualifications
- Time Served Apprenticeship – beneficial
- Competent at reading engineering drawings
- Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using hand‑held measuring tools such as Verniers, calipers, etc.
- Commutable from: Derby, Burton, Nottingham and surrounding areas
