I’m working with a leading trading firm looking for a Python Engineer to partner closely with front-office business users and help turn business-built tools into robust, production-grade applications.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, DevOps, and business engagement — ideal for someone who enjoys solving real business problems while introducing strong development standards and controls.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python applications and automation
• Work directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Improve and standardise business-built tools and processes
• Configure and support existing CI/CD and DevOps pipelines
• Ensure solutions follow good engineering, security, and operational practices

Qualifications

• Practical understanding of CI/CD and DevOps workflows
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with the business

Must haves: experience in trading, capital markets, or financial services.
