Job Title: Cyber Security ManagerEmployment type: Full-time, Permanent. Hybrid, 2-3 days in the officeSalary: £70,000 – £75,000 per annum depending on experience

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Cyber Security Manager to lead and evolve our cyber security capability at AccessPay. This role is critical in safeguarding our systems, data, and customers, ensuring we stay ahead of emerging threats in an ever-evolving security landscape.

As part of our Governance, Risk, Compliance, Security and Internal IT function, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering our cyber security strategy. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering and Technology teams to embed security into everything we do, while leading and developing a high‑performing security team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of the company’s cyber security strategy
  • Manage cyber security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities across the business
  • Oversee security testing, threat modelling, and vulnerability assessments
  • Establish and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security into products and processes
  • Drive security awareness and training across the organisation
  • Lead, mentor and develop the cyber security team

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in cyber security within a regulated environment (ideally fintech/SaaS)
  • Strong technical knowledge of security tools (e.g. CrowdStrike, Sentinel, Purview, iBoss)
  • Solid understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2)
  • Experience in risk assessment, incident management and vulnerability testing
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
