Lancashire Peat Partnership Assistant Project Officer

Are you passionate about helping to protect our wild uplands of Lancashire?

The Lancashire Peat Partnership are recruiting for two enthusiastic and passionate individuals to work as part of the team, helping with surveys and overseeing ongoing peatland restoration work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with surveys and peatland restoration projects.
  • Designing and implementing habitat restoration projects.
  • Coordinating with partners, external landowners, and volunteers.
  • Participating in field work, an average of 3 days per week between August and March.

Required skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors and handle fieldwork responsibilities.
  • Passion for conservation and willingness to learn about peatland restoration.
