Role Overview
This role is for a driven, inspirational and motivational admin lead who will manage a high quality and highly efficient administrative workforce within the locality. The post holder will be innovative and forward thinking.
The post holder will be creative with an inclusive approach towards problem solving and service development.
IRS offers a single point of access into mental health services. This is an exciting time to be part of the crisis pathway and support people with mental health to ensure they access the most appropriate support at the right time.
Responsibilities
The role involves communicating with administrative staff within the locality on occasionally difficult, sensitive and complex business issues. This will require a degree of negotiating, empathy and reassurance skills to foster cooperation across the service.
As well as to lead and support with supervisions, appraisals, managing absence, performance and disciplinary.
You will work closely with the IRS Admin Lead to support engagement of staff, continued drive of motivation and continuous development of staff to ensure high levels of productivity and quality.
You will be supported through a relevant training package. The training package will be delivered at The Mount.
The post holder will be resilient, resourceful, and be able to manage/support staff with a well‑rounded skill set. A robust supervision structure is in place to support staff due to the challenges of the role.
