Technical Manager required to deliver residential‑led schemes for a leading UK housebuilder. This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a well‑established developer with a strong pipeline of high‑quality residential projects across the South East.

About the Role

The Technical Manager will be based from office and site, managing projects from early stage design through to delivery on-site

Responsibilities

• Leading the technical delivery of residential developments from early design stages through to completion on site
• Managing external consultants including architects, engineers and utility providers to ensure coordinated technical information
• Coordinating planning‑approved designs into detailed technical and construction drawings for residential schemes
• Ensuring Technical Manager responsibilities are delivered in line with UK Building Regulations, NHBC standards and statutory requirements
• Supporting site teams during construction, resolving technical queries and managing design changes effectively

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Manager or Senior Technical professional within residential development in the UK
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, NHBC standards and residential construction methods
• Experience managing technical delivery from design, planning and pre‑construction through to site completion
• Ability to manage multiple residential projects and consultant teams simultaneously
• Relevant qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline

Pay range and compensation package

• £70,000 – £85,000 (DOE) plus a package including car allowance, pension, private healthcare and life insurance.
