Building Manager – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Manager to oversee a residential site on a 6 months fixed term contract.
This role would suit candidates from a BTR or PBSA background who are confident managing day to day building operations, resident experience and onsite teams within a fast paced living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the residential building
- Act as the main point of contact for residents
- Oversee lettings activity, viewings and void management
- Coordinate contractors, repairs and maintenance works
- Carry out regular building inspections and maintain presentation standards
- Manage onsite staff and operational rotas
- Handle tenancy matters, resident queries and issue resolution
- Monitor compliance including H&S, gas, electrical and fire safety requirements
- Support budgeting and approve contractor invoices
- Ensure apartments are ready for occupation and minimise void periods
Requirements
- Experience within BTR, PBSA or residential property management
- Strong operational and customer-facing experience
- Confident managing contractors and onsite teams
- Good understanding of residential compliance and building operations
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Available to start at short notice
