Location: Folkestone

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (dependent on experience)

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

Our Client is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Telesales & Customer Service Executive to join their Internal Sales team. This role combines telesales, customer service, and sales support responsibilities, playing a key part in managing customer enquiries, supporting the sales function, and contributing to revenue growth.

You will act as a first point of contact for customers, delivering a high standard of service while also identifying opportunities to generate leads, follow up quotations, and add value through upselling and cross‑selling.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries by phone and email.
  • Provide timely, professional support and resolve issues or elevate where appropriate.
  • Manage after‑sales care, including delivery updates and customer follow‑ups.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a consistently positive experience.

Telesales & Sales Support

  • Assign inbound leads to the appropriate Regional Sales Managers.
  • Generate new leads through proactive communication and market research.
  • Prepare, issue and follow up on customer quotations and proposals.
  • Track outstanding quotes and proactively support conversion to orders.
  • Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Where required, manage leads from initial enquiry through to order completion.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the CRM system.

About You

  • Previous experience in customer service, telesales, sales support or a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional manner.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive problem‑solver with a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams.
