Cricket Derbyshire, England, United Kingdom Reporting into the Head of Analytics and working alongside the existing Performance Analysis,
Derbyshire County Cricket Club are seeking an Assistant Performance Analyst on a part time basis to assist with the key duties and responsibilities below:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead in the filming and coding of Home fixtures across the club’s cricket department, including but not exclusive to Men’s 2nd XI, Women’s 1st XI and Boys Academy.
- Set up and maintenance of video and analytical equipment at various grounds across the county to enable live coding to take place.
- Provide analytical feedback to coaching staff and players as and when required.
- Lead analytical projects as and when required by the Head of Analytics.
- Maintain performance related databases across the season.
Qualifications
- Excellent Organisational and Communication Skills
- Knowledge of Cricket
- Experience of setting up remote cameras to capture live footage
- Full clean driving license and access to a car as travel will be required to grounds
- Qualifications in or currently studying for a Sports Performance Analysis degree or related sports-based degree.
- Ability to work independently under pressure
You must have the right to work in the UK as we are unable to sponsor visa applications for this role.
Hours & Rate of Pay: Role is on an ad-hoc, casual basis around fixtures and will start in April 2026 until the completion of the season at the end of September.
Due to the nature of the role some evening and weekend work will be required. It is anticipated that the role will be between 20 to 40 days, however days/hours are not guaranteed due to the casual nature of the role.
Rate of pay will meet National Minimum Wage. Closing date for applications is Sunday 22nd February 2026.
