Senior Procurement Manager Europe

Job Description

This role is primarily hybrid across various locations, with office visits as expected. Travel will be 10–15% within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of procurement professionals across the UK and Europe.
• Translate global category strategies into actionable regional plans and drive strategy for “Regional‑Heavy” categories such as Systems Integration and Deployment Services.
• Lead regional sourcing events and contract negotiations for local/regional suppliers, ensuring all contracts meet regional legal, tax and compliance requirements.
• Partner with Global Category Managers to adapt global standards for local power requirements and regulations in categories such as Servers, Fleet, and Contract Labor.
• Act as the primary procurement point of contact for regional business leaders, ensuring procurement activities support local business objectives.
• Implement and monitor supplier performance metrics and KPIs in alignment with global best practices.
• Identify and mitigate regional supply‑chain risks, ensuring a resilient footprint across the UK and Europe.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of Procurement Category Management or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of Management Experience.
• Fluency in English.
• 10–15% travel.

Preferred Requirements

• Defence Procurement experience.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both global leadership and local execution teams.
• Experience supporting large or complex supplier deals, including hardware, software and services integrated solutions with customer flow‑down requirements.
• Proven track record of leading complex negotiations and managing multi‑country RFPs.
• Experience in System Integration such as Civil Works Equipment and Services, Professional Services, Software, Applications or emerging technologies.
