Description
We are seeking an experiencedCompliance Manager to play a key role in the continued success and growth of our MGA platform within the PCIS business. Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will take ownership of the oversight, onboarding, and regulatory management of our network of Appointed Representatives (ARs).
This is a high-impact position, combining regulatory expertise with operational delivery. You will lead initiatives to strengthen compliance frameworks, support business growth through AR onboarding, and ensure an excellent, compliant customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support applications for regulatory permissions, including Appointed Representative status and FCA authorisation processes
Lead the onboarding and transition of Appointed Representatives, ensuring a seamless and compliant integration
Conduct ongoing oversight of ARs, including due diligence, policy reviews, and compliance monitoring
Ensure ARs meet and maintain regulatory standards throughout their lifecycle
Review financial promotions and customer journeys to ensure compliance with ICOBS requirements
Support compliance activities relating to acquisitions and day-to-day operations
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including regulators and industry bodies (e.g. FCA, BIBA, MGAA)
Deliver accurate and timely regulatory reporting to senior management and governance committees
Maintain and enhance company policies in line with evolving regulatory requirements
Develop and manage regulatory and operational risk frameworks, including controls and procedures
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
3-5 years’ compliance experience within the insurance sector, ideally within MGA or AR environments
Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, including PRIN, ICOBS, SYSC, and SUP
Proven experience working with Appointed Representative models
Experience reviewing financial promotions and conducting compliance monitoring
Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and operational risk management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
