About the Role

We are seeking caring and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisors to join a network of primary schools across Birmingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour while they eat and play.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in dining halls, playgrounds, and other designated areas
• Encourage good table manners and healthy eating habits
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusion among pupils
• Support children in play activities and help resolve minor conflicts
• Ensure the safety and welfare of all pupils at all times
• Report any concerns or incidents to school staff promptly

What We’re Looking For

• A friendly, patient, and approachable manner
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and staff
• A strong sense of responsibility and awareness of safeguarding
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment
