Our client is a growing deep-tech organisation developing high-performance laser systems for demanding real-world applications. They’re looking for a Principal Ultrafast Laser Specialist to lead the design and development of next-generation short pulse laser systems

About You
- You’ll likely bring experience in short pulse lasers, ultrafast optics, nonlinear optics or advanced photonics.
- A PhD or equivalent experience would be valuable, but practical expertise and technical leadership matter most.
- Experience with laser diagnostics, broadband amplification, complex optical systems, modelling, MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW or optical design tools would be a bonus.

- Salary: £75,000 – £100,000
- Benefits: Share options expected
- Location: Oxfordshire
- Working pattern: Mainly on-site, with flexibility where possible
