Quantity Surveyor (Building)

  • Coalisland | Hybrid Working | NI Projects Only
  • Up to £60,000 + package
  • Permanent | Full-Time

Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for a role where you can take ownership of projects, work close to home and still have genuine flexibility?

We are working with a well-established, award-winning Northern Ireland contractor to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team.

This is a permanent, NI-based role with projects across residential, commercial and education. You will have the opportunity to manage the commercial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors.

The Role:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved across the full project lifecycle, including:

  • Procurement and management of subcontract packages
  • Cost planning, forecasting and reporting
  • Preparing valuations, variations and payment applications
  • Managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account
  • Liaising with site teams, clients, subcontractors and senior management
  • Supporting commercial performance across a varied project portfolio

About you:

  • A degree or third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction or a related discipline
  • At least 3-5 years Quantity Surveying experience
  • Experience working for a main contractor, subcontractor or developer
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage projects independently
  • Experience with valuations, variations, subcontract procurement and final accounts
  • A full driving licence
