This is a transformational opportunity within a leading global engineering business at the forefront of advanced imaging and inspection technology.
As Head of Product Regulation & Project Coordinator, you will take ownership of product compliance across a high-tech product portfolio while coordinating key New Product Development (PDP) projects from concept through to delivery.
Based in Tring, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for product regulation, ensuring compliance with international standards across global sites. Working closely with engineering, quality and manufacturing teams, you will interpret EU, UL and international regulatory requirements, embedding compliance into product design in a practical and commercially balanced way.
Alongside regulatory leadership, you will coordinate cross-functional product development projects. You’ll develop project plans, establish timelines, monitor progress, facilitate regular project reviews and ensure key deliverables are achieved. Working across multiple disciplines, you’ll identify risks, escalate issues where necessary and help projects meet quality, cost and delivery objectives.
You’ll also have the autonomy to develop new compliance processes and enhance existing global regulatory frameworks, ensuring best practice is embedded throughout the business. As the company’s regulatory expert, you’ll oversee technical documentation, support product risk assessments, maintain compliance with CE, UKCA, RoHS and REACH requirements, and act as the primary interface with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
This role requires a strong electromechanical engineering background, ideally gained within a high-tech manufacturing environment, together with proven experience in product regulation and compliance. Experience coordinating engineering or New Product Development (NPI/PDP) projects and working across international teams will be highly advantageous.
In return, you’ll join a business investing heavily in new technology, offering hybrid working, the option of a compressed working week, and genuine autonomy to shape processes and drive continuous improvement.
