Our client, a prominent name in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a contract FPGA Engineer to join their esteemed team. Developing high-performance firmware for critical surveillance radar solutions like Osprey and Seaspray Integrating and debugging complex systems where firmware interacts with hardware and software Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery Degree (BSc, BEng, MEng, MSc, PhD) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field Experience in integrating and debugging complex systems involving firmware, hardware, and software Due to the nature of the work, five years of UK residency and the capability to achieve full SC security clearance are required Experience with auto-generated code using model-driven engineering tools like MATLAB and Simulink Location/Hybrid Working Requirements: You can expect to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per week, with more time on site required to meet project demands.
