We are supporting a regulated financial services firm with the hire of a Senior CASS Oversight Manager on a maternity cover contract.

This role will suit an experienced CASS professional who can provide oversight, assurance and regulatory control across client money activities, outsourced providers and senior governance forums as well as leading a small team (2)

Key responsibilities

• Provide CASS oversight and assurance to senior management.
• Support monthly CMAR review and sign-off.
• Monitor CASS and COBS compliance across BAU activity.
• Prepare CASS governance and board reporting.
• Oversee internal and external client money reconciliations.
• Maintain policies, procedures and risk control frameworks.
• Lead audit responses, issue reviews and remediation activity.
• Support CASS training and wider change projects.

What we are looking for

• Strong CASS experience, ideally within life, pensions, savings, wealth or investment environments.
• Good understanding of FCA regulation, Consumer Duty and customer outcomes.
• Experience working with outsourced providers and third-party oversight.
• Confident producing governance reporting and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and regulatory judgement.
