About Us

Henig Diamonds is one of the UK’s leading diamond and jewellery suppliers, serving retailers and industry professionals nationwide. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Operations Department and help build the next stage of our business.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the COO, you will be responsible for ensuring our operational engine runs smoothly, efficiently, and at scale. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll work across inventory, logistics, quality control, supplier management, and process improvement, helping shape the future of the business.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Develop Operations

  • Manage the day-to-day performance of the Operations Department.
  • Set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure teams are working efficiently.
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Buying, Finance, and Senior Leadership.

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Drive stock accuracy across thousands of diamonds and jewellery items.
  • Investigate discrepancies, missing stock, and certification issues.
  • Oversee stock audits, inventory controls, and reporting.
  • Support future automation projects, including RFID and system enhancements.

Dispatch, Fulfilment & Quality Control

  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Oversee dispatch workflows and service-level performance.
  • Manage the India-based stock checking and quality control team.
  • Monitor supplier quality, rejection rates, and shipment checks.

Returns, Repairs & After-Sales

  • Oversee supplier returns, repairs, warranty claims, and customer after-sales processes.
  • Improve turnaround times and communication between teams, suppliers, and workshops.
  • Ensure a smooth customer experience from sale through to aftercare.

Process Improvement & Growth

  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Implement KPIs, reporting, and operational best practices.
  • Support Zoho Projects and wider systems development.
  • Create scalable processes that support the company’s continued growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing teams, processes, and operational performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Background in inventory, logistics, fulfilment, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience within jewellery or diamonds industry (BtoB only).
