Harrogate College is recruiting for a Teaching Technician in Electrical to join our team. This is a new role within the Construction and Electrical department.
You will support the Electrical team with technician tasks, as well as plan, teach, and assess learning within the department. Part of the role will require some administrative duties.
It is a role ideally suited for a person with an Electrical background who wants to start or progress their career in teaching.
What You Will Do
- Plan, prepare and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, learning and assessment plans.
- Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
- Motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills to enable progression.

- Develop and strengthen relationships with learners and provide support to ensure successful outcomes.
- Use and promote restorative practice approaches.
- Prepare equipment and resources and maintain working areas to a professional standard.
