From £43k – DOE + £4,000 Car Allowance + Mileage (Driving Licence and car essential)
Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover – up to 12 months)
⏰ Full-time | 37.5 hours, Monday–Friday

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our team on a fixed-term basis. Supporting our Central & London Division, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our “Keeping Everyone Safe” (KES) approach is embedded across our nurseries and support functions.
This is a field-based role involving regular travel to sites across London and our Nurseries in the South of England.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with nursery teams to embed a strong health & safety culture
- Conduct KES audits, monitor compliance, and drive continuous improvement
- Support with incident and accident investigations
- Help develop and implement policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Provide guidance on fire safety, DSE, COSHH, and RIDDOR compliance
- Deliver coaching, training, and advice to managers and colleagues
- Act as the main H&S contact for your division
- Support wider H&S initiatives, reporting, and projects
About You
You’ll be a proactive, confident H&S professional who thrives in a multi-site, people-focused environment.
Essential
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor (or similar) role
- Strong knowledge of risk assessments, fire safety, COSHH, RIDDOR, DSE
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Multi-site environment experience
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience in childcare, education, or retail – An advantage
- IOSH (or working towards)
- Training/coaching experience
An enhanced DBS is required for this role.
