Electricians – Fancy something steadier – No day to day frustrations?
£50,000-£58,000 (Salary and holiday pay benefits)
west London
- No chasing jobs.
- No constant firefighting.
- No self-employed chaos
- No wondering what tomorrow’s workload looks like.
- If you’re an Electrician who’s good at what you do but a bit fed up with the pressure, this might be worth a look.
We’re working with a social housing provider who are looking for an Electrician to support their housing stock compliance, due to team size increasing.
It’s hands‑on, proper electrical work. Repairs. Fault finding and EICRs ( maximum 2 per day – Its about quality over quantity).
- You’ll be working in people’s homes, so quality and customer care matter just as much as the technical side.
- This is steady, long‑term work — not stop‑start contracting.
- Clear priorities.
- Realistic workloads.
- A proper first‑time fix approach.
- Support from senior staff when jobs get complex.
- The right systems, PPE and compliance in place.
- decent 50k salary and £8,000 in Holiday pay. ( not bad for only 40 hrs per week)
- average £6-£8K in call out per year. If you want it + Saturday Sunday overtime ( voluntary)
You’ll also get a company vehicle, paid out‑of‑hours call‑out on a rota (1 in 6 weeks), and a team that invests in apprentices and does things properly.
Nothing flashy, Just well‑run.
You don’t need to tick every box, but ideally you’ll need:
- have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (City & Guilds 2382, OR 2360, OR 2365, OR 2357 etc.) – MUST HAVE
- AM2 OR AM2E- MUST HAVE
- 2391 – inspection and testing experience
- solid knowledge of BS7671, and experience in domestic or social housing environments
- A full UK driving licence, decent IT skills and good people skills are important too.
- If you take pride in your work and don’t cut corners, you’ll fit in.
No pressure to apply.
No hard sell.
If you’re open to a quick, informal chat to hear more and decide if it’s right for you, that’s absolutely fine. Happy to talk it through and let you decide.
