Job Description:

The Electrical SHEQ Advisor is responsible for supporting the effective delivery of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards across electrical engineering and infrastructure projects. The role ensures compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and statutory requirements while promoting a proactive and positive safety culture throughout all project activities.

Key Responsibilitie

  • sProvide SHEQ guidance and support across electrical projects, installations, and site operations
  • .Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety assessments to ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards
  • .Assist in the development, review, and implementation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • .Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • .Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring findings are documented and corrective actions are implemented
  • .Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and SHEQ-related training to site personnel
  • .Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO management systems, including
  • :ISO 9001 – Quality Managemen
  • tISO 14001 – Environmental Managemen
  • tISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety Managemen
  • tCollaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Teams to ensure safe systems of work are established and maintained
  • .Maintain accurate SHEQ records, reports, audits, inspections, and compliance documentation
  • .Promote continuous improvement and a strong safety culture across projects and the wider business

.Qualificatio

  • ).Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related disciplin

  • dgeSound knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, particularly within construction, utilities, or electrical environmen
