Graduate Design/Manufacturing Engineer
Our client are a rapidly growing company where you will work closely with the Head of Engineering to produce detailed engineering drawings and bills of materials for current and new products.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the engineering team with design updates of new and existing products
- Generating bills of materials for products
- Relaying fabrication information to production teams and operatives
- Nesting of cut steel parts for inhouse processing
- Accurate recording of steel stock
- Responsibility for kanban system for cut steel parts
To be successful for this role you will:
- Graduate of a relevant engineering qualification or working towards the equivalent will also be considered
- Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not critical
- Experience in CAD system desirable SolidWorks etc
- Nesting software experience is beneficial but not critical
- Good interpersonal skills
- Competent user of Microsoft Office
