Account Manager – Telecom

You’ll become the trusted point of contact for customers, delivering outstanding service, supporting their business objectives, and driving long-term account growth through a consultative approach.
Salary & Benefits
- £30,000-£35,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission structure
- 20 days annual leave, increasing to 25 days with length of service, plus bank holidays

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Account Manager to strengthen existing customer relationships while identifying opportunities to expand revenue across their client portfolio.
About You
- Previous experience in an Account Management, Business Development or Sales role
- Experience within the telecommunications or IT sector would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering outstanding service
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Organised with excellent time management and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing customer queries, objections and service issues
- Competent using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
What You’ll Do
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of business customers
- Build long-term relationships by understanding customer needs and business objectives
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell business technology and communication solutions
- Deliver proactive account management and ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently
- Conduct regular account reviews, contract renewals and service improvement discussions
- Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial agreements
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Support and Technical teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Maintain accurate CRM records, customer activity and sales opportunities
- Achieve revenue, customer retention and customer satisfaction targets
- Act as a trusted advisor, recommending solutions that support customers’ ongoing business growth
