Private Client Lawyer (3+ PQE) – £55,000 – £80,000 (DoE)
A well-established and highly respected law firm with multiple offices across the South West is seeking a Private Client Lawyer to join its growing team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, advising a broad client base on a varied caseload of private client matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including wills, trusts, probate and estate administration
- Advising clients on inheritance tax planning, lifetime gifting and wealth preservation strategies
- Preparing and drafting wills, lasting powers of attorney and trust documentation
- Administering estates from instruction through to completion, including complex and high-value matters
- Providing clear and practical advice to individuals, families and elderly clients on a range of private client issues
- Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in private client law
- Experience managing a broad private client caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts and estate planning matters
- Excellent client care, communication and relationship management skills
- STEP qualification or a willingness to work towards this would be advantageous but is not essential
