Private Client Solicitor – Probate / Wills / Estate Planning
Location: East Belfast (with flexibility to support Holywood office) Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 FTE (depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and personable Private Client Solicitor to join our growing team, specialising in Probate, Wills, and Estate Planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established firm in the Northern Ireland market.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services to clients while contributing positively to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Powers of attorney
- Providing clear, practical, and empathetic advice to clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting the ongoing development of the private client department
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
Experience & Skills Required
- Ideally 2-5 years PQE within private client work in Northern Ireland
- Strong technical knowledge of probate, wills, and estate planning
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Ability to manage caseload independently with attention to detail
- Proactive, organised, and team-oriented approach
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career within private client law
