PRESENTATION SCHEDULER (6-MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)

SALARY BAND

£33,000 per annum

THE SYNOPSIS

Narrative Entertainment is the UK’s largest independent TV broadcaster, with a portfolio spanning Movies, Entertainment and Children’s TV. We operate across linear broadcast channels (GREAT! and POP Networks), AVOD apps, and a growing range of FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) channels across major platforms.

As we continue to grow our portfolio, we’re looking for a Presentation Scheduler to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support the delivery of high-quality schedules across our channel network.

THE ROLE

As a Presentation Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating and delivering daily presentation playlists across our Movies, Entertainment and Kids channels, ensuring all schedules are accurate, compliant and delivered to deadline.

Working closely with On-Air, Media Planning, Programming and Playout teams, you will play a critical role in maintaining smooth channel operations and delivering an excellent viewing experience for our audiences.

This role is ideal for someone with broadcast scheduling experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail and enjoys working collaboratively across multiple teams.

SCENE BY SCENE

  • Build, maintain and deliver daily presentation schedules using BTS scheduling software
  • Ensure the accurate scheduling of promotions, commercials, sponsorships, branding elements and presentation material
  • Liaise with On-Air, Playout, Media Planning and Programming teams to ensure seamless transmission delivery
  • Export and distribute programming grids to listings partners and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and update metadata, commercial break files and as-run logs
  • Ensure schedules remain compliant with Ofcom regulations, broadcast requirements and audience guidelines
  • Monitor schedule accuracy and resolve conflicts or discrepancies proactively
  • Analyse audience performance data and support recommendations for schedule optimisation
  • Work collaboratively with regional and cross-functional teams to ensure consistency across channels and services
  • Support the implementation of new scheduling processes and workflow improvements
  • Assist with ad hoc scheduling, operational and programming projects as required
  • Maintain accurate records and scheduling documentation to support operational excellence
