About The Role
As a Senior Nurse within the Outpatients department, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary clinical environment. Working closely with consultants, radiologists and allied health professionals, you will provide responsive, evidence based nursing care across a range of outpatient procedures and treatments, including infusion therapies and minor orthopaedic interventions. The role also includes supporting the daily coordination of the department, supervising junior staff, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, governance and patient experience are maintained. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to service development while shaping excellent clinical care in a dynamic and innovative healthcare setting.
About You
You are a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse with strong clinical experience and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. With proven expertise in outpatient or procedural settings, you are confident performing clinical skills such as IV therapy, wound management and patient assessment. You bring strong leadership qualities, enabling you to support and mentor junior colleagues while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Organised, proactive and patient-focused, you are committed to continuous professional development and upholding the highest standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
You are highly organised, confident working autonomously and as part of a team, and able to manage competing demands in a fast paced theatre environment. Strong communication, leadership and problem solving skills are essential, along with a commitment to maintaining professional standards, patient dignity, and high quality clinical outcomes. You are motivated, proactive, and keen to contribute to the continued success and development of a growing, high performing surgical service.
