Product Design Engineer

The Role

You’ll be part of a close-knit engineering and production team, helping take lighting products from concept through to manufacture. This position suits someone who brings creativity, initiative, and fresh thinking, while maintaining a strong foundation in engineering principles.

You’ll contribute to new product development, enhancements to existing ranges, and bespoke customer solutions, working from a North West–based headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• :Design and develop lighting products, components, and assemblies using SolidWork
• sCreate detailed 3D models, technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and supporting documentatio
• nCollaborate with production, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with customer need
• sSupport prototype builds, testing, and validation activitie
• sContribute innovative ideas to improve product performance, aesthetics, and manufacturabilit
• yDrive continuous improvement across existing product line
• sEnsure designs comply with relevant standards and internal quality requirement
• sProvide technical input during customer discussions and project scopin
