As Head of Strategic Warehouse & Transport Operations, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the organisation’s warehousing and transport network, helping transition the business towards a predominantly in-house logistics model whilst driving efficiency, compliance and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead warehousing and transport operations nationally
- Support the development of the future logistics strategy
- Drive the transition from outsourced to in-house logistics
- Oversee fleet operations, utilisation and compliance
- Hold responsibility for Operator Licence compliance
- Ensure adherence to DVSA regulations and industry standards
- Improve delivery performance, route efficiency and service levels
- Develop scalable logistics infrastructure to support growth
- Lead and develop operational management teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the network
What We’re Looking For
- CPC Qualified (National or International)
- Significant transport and warehousing leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Operator Licence requirements
- Experience managing multi-site or multi-vehicle operations
- Understanding of last-mile delivery networks
- Experience with transport management systems and route optimisation software
- Strong commercial and operational awareness
- Ability to operate strategically whilst remaining hands-on

- £70,000 – £80,000 Basic Salary
