Field Service Engineer – Network Health Team
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to repair our parcel lockers on client sites. Responsibilities include break‑fix, maintenance, software configuration, quality control, technical support and training. You’ll also develop new solutions and maintain technical documentation.
What you’ll be doing
- Diagnosing and repairing faults and malfunctions of parcel locker machines (APMs) on site, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintenance and modernisation of parcel locker machines, including implementing hardware and software upgrades.
- Diagnosing, reconfiguring, and installing computer software or firmware for equipment, ensuring compatibility and security compliance.
- Processing and reporting on assigned repairs using internal communication channels.
- Managing tools and components for parcel locker machines.
- Handling personnel‑related systems.
- Quality control of work performed by internal employees and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to technical standards, contractual agreements and company guidelines.
- Providing technical and substantive support to employees and subcontractors via company communication and IT channels.
- Participating in the development of solutions for new types of parcel locker machines.
- Preparing and updating technical manuals and documentation.
Location and Travel
This role is based near or within the Wolverhampton/Birmingham area, with occasional training and visits to our office in Hemel Hempstead. Travel across the UK and occasionally internationally may be required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to provide technical training.
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines across multiple markets.
- High accuracy in quality control and documentation updates.
- Experience working with diverse teams, including international subcontractors and internal staff.
- Flexibility to travel for service and training within the UK and occasionally internationally.
- Familiarity with parcel locker or similar systems, electromechanical devices, and organisational IT tools.
- Effective time management and responsibility for handling tools and components.
