Hours

• Monday to Thursday 8am–4:45pm, Friday 6am–12:30pm

The role of Maintenance Engineer:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a timely manner
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machinery performance and reliability
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs conducted
• Provide support during equipment installations or upgrades
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and production loss
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalati

The ideal Maintenance Engineer:

• Mechanical bias with experience in Electrical
• Relevant qualifications in engineering such as NVQ, HND, or equivalent
• Experience in a maintenance role within the industrial or manufacturing sector
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
• Good understanding of health and safety standards in engineering environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet operational goals
