Role Description

Following a sustained increase in client demand and online booking volumes, we are looking to recruit an Associate Lawyer and Team Leader to join our ID1 Online Verification Team which is quickly becoming one of the UK’s leading providers.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal professional to combine technical expertise with team leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume, digitally driven environment. You will oversee the delivery of remote ID1 verification services while maintaining compliance, efficiency and exceptional client experience with back office support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote ID1 verification appointments in line with HM Land Registry requirements
  • Lead and manage a team handling high volumes of online bookings and verifications
  • Oversee scheduling, allocation, and workflow management to meet increased demand
  • Review, approve, and sign off ID1 forms and associated documentation
  • Ensure full compliance with AML, KYC, and identity verification regulations
  • Attend to client enquiries and follow up requirements
  • Monitor team performance and implement improvements to maintain service standards
  • Deliver training, mentoring, and ongoing support to team members
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital verification processes and client journey

Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent lawyer (Licenced Conveyancer, CILEX or Chartered Legal Executive)) with relevant post-qualification experience
  • Strong knowledge of HM Land Registry requirements and conveyancing processes
  • Demonstrable experience in team leadership or supervision, ideally within a high-volume service environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
  • Confident communicator with excellent client care skills, particularly in virtual settings
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused
  • Strong IT proficiency with video conference tools and office software
