Cloud Operations Engineer

Salary: £37,000 – 68,500 per year

Requirements

• Experience in a production support, operations, or cloud infrastructure role
• Strong Linux fundamentals and experience troubleshooting server and network issues
• Exposure to Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform)
• An interest in secure, regulated environments and mission-critical systems
• S/C Clearable (5 Years Continuous UK address history)

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line operational support for secure cloud platforms and users
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, platform, and Linux-based issues in live environments
• Monitor systems, manage incidents, and follow runbooks for high-priority events
• Support Kubernetes-based platforms and Infrastructure as Code environments
• Work with ticketing systems to document issues, resolutions, and escalations
• Contribute to continuous improvement by reducing operational toil and improving procedures
• Develop deep technical expertise in air-gapped cloud architecture and secure operations
