The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Senior Estimator to play a key role in securing and shaping major water infrastructure schemes across the North of England. Based in Warrington, you’ll take ownership of the estimating process from early-stage engagement through to final submission-working closely with commercial, planning, and delivery teams to produce competitive, high-quality bids.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates and tenders for water infrastructure projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical information to ensure accurate pricing
- Engage with supply chain partners to obtain competitive and compliant quotations
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
- Collaborate with bid, planning, and commercial teams to develop winning strategies
- Present and justify estimates to senior stakeholders
About You
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within the water sector or civil engineering
- Strong understanding of infrastructure projects, NEC contracts, and UK utilities frameworks
- Ability to interpret technical information and translate into accurate cost plans
- Commercial awareness with a detail-oriented approach
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
