Client Overview

Our client is a global management consultancy specialising in transformation, technology, and advisory services across industries including financial services, energy, and consumer products.

For this engagement, our client is looking to deliver a major Workday ERP implementation for a leading insurance client. As the programme moves into its final phases, they are looking for an experienced Workday Training Lead to drive end-user readiness and support a successful rollout.

Role Overview – Workday Training Lead

The training strategy is about 90% complete. The successful candidate will take ownership of refining the delivery approach, validate it with business super users, and lead the final stages of training preparation ahead of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go-live.

This is a senior, hands-on role combining instructional design, stakeholder management, and training leadership. You’ll be responsible for developing high-quality learning materials, facilitating workshops, and coordinating with third-party learning partners to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finalise and enhance the Workday training strategy and delivery plan
  • Work closely with business super users to validate and refine training requirements
  • Design and develop instructor-led training materials and classroom content
  • Create VideoScribe content, UAT materials, and quick reference guides

  • Manage relationships with third-party learning providers
  • Support the successful rollout of the Workday implementation through to December

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience leading training workstreams on Workday ERP implementations
  • Strong background in instructional design and training material development
  • Experience creating classroom materials, VideoScribe content, user guides, and quick reference documentation
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and engage senior business stakeholders
  • Experience working alongside implementation partners and external learning providers
  • Knowledge of Workday Finance is essential (experience with HR and Learning modules would be beneficial)
