About the role
Our Creative Learning & Wellbeing team at Cambridgeshire Music is seeking Instrumental and Vocal Tutors and Clinical Arts Therapists to support delivery within education and community settings with individuals and groups. The four posts are offered initially at 0.4 FTE, with potential for the role to develop further and expand over time. Successful candidates will deliver high-quality provision, supporting the musical and/or personal development particularly of children and young people. You will contribute to a diverse programme of creative learning activity, tailored to a range of ages, abilities, and settings.

About you
You will have relevant qualifications, training, or demonstrable experience in your chosen specialism, with the ability to teach across a range of genres and styles and sizes of groups. You will be confident delivering engaging and inclusive sessions that meet the needs of children and young people with varying levels of ability and experience. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with pupils, families, school staff, and colleagues, and to inspire enthusiasm for music-making. A flexible and adaptable approach is essential, as you will be working across a variety of educational and community settings. You should be well organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and professional practice. As the role involves delivery in multiple locations, you will be able to travel independently across the county of Cambridgeshire.
