Wholesale Sales Manager

We are currently partnering with a Luxury Heritage brand on the search for a Wholesale Sales Manager. This is a permanent role based in London, with regular UK and international travel.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected brand with a strong heritage, established premium retail partnerships and ambitious plans to develop its wholesale presence across the UK and international markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the wholesale sales strategy, nurturing existing wholesale relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities and ensuring the brand is represented to the highest standard across all wholesale partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and continuously refine a wholesale strategy aligned with the brand’s commercial and positioning objectives.
- Drive wholesale sales performance across the collection, ensuring revenue targets are achieved and exceeded.
- Manage and develop relationships with existing premium wholesale partners.
- Identify, approach and secure new wholesale accounts that align with the brand’s positioning and distribution strategy.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects from initial outreach through to close.
- Lead market week preparation, appointments, seasonal selling activity and customer meetings.
- Negotiate trade terms with new and existing wholesale partners in line with company agreements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and wider industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with wholesale customers to understand their business, improve sell-through and maximise account performance.
- Support in-season trading through store visits, training, product knowledge sessions and regular customer communication.
- Coordinate trunk shows, pop-ups and promotional events where required.
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, account development, pipeline activity and strategic initiatives.
- Manage and support one wholesale administrative team member, ensuring efficient day-to-day wholesale operations.
- Travel regularly across the UK and international markets to support customers, market activity and commercial growth.
What we’re looking for?
- Proven experience in wholesale sales within premium, luxury or branded menswear fashion.
- Existing relationships across relevant premium retailers, department stores, independents or luxury wholesale accounts.
- Strong understanding of seasonal sell-in, sell-through, reorders, account planning and wholesale trading.
- Experience managing premium wholesale accounts and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a clear understanding of sales targets, KPIs, margin, cost control and account performance.
- Confident managing customer relationships at buyer, owner and senior stakeholder level.
- Ability to balance commercial growth with brand protection and selective distribution.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Full clean driving license.
- Comfortable with regular UK and international travel.
