Our client is a well-established manufacturer of innovative equipment for a variety of industry sectors including aerospace, wind and automotive industry sectors. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing controls software for manufacturing equipment, providing technical support to engineers & customers and managing system projects from initial concept through to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Designing electrical and control systems for material processing machinery
• Developing design concepts and producing technical drawings.
• Managing system projects from initial concept through to implementation.
• Understand customer specifications and research into solutions to help develop new products.
• Providing technical support to clients and the wider engineering teams.
• Ensure that developed systems are compliant with H&S standards.
• Create programmable logic controllers that meet the agreed technical solution.

Requirements

• Must be an experienced Control Systems Engineer.
• Proficient with electronic and electrical software.
• Experienced in programming PLCs such as Siemens
• Understanding of composites, material processing and polymer manufacturing would be beneficial.
• Be able to manage system project from initial concept through to delivery.
