About the Role
Are you an experienced Environmental Permitting Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience. Caulmert currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to work in the Company’s Environment Team.
Responsibilities
- Project management and production of permit applications
- Reviewing of technical documents, interpreting data and report writing
- Communicating with clients and external parties (e.g. Environment Agency) to progress projects
- Managing legislative issues for Clients and maintaining an awareness of how legislation impacts projects
- Provide guidance and support to other in-house disciplines
- Promoting the company’s services and being alert to new opportunities
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in environmental sciences, or a related environmental discipline
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in Environmental Permitting
- Thorough understanding of UK environmental legislation and the Environmental Permitting regime in England and Wales
Required Skills
- Proven skills in undertaking and managing environmental permit applications
- Project management experience
- Well-organised and able to prioritise workload with minimal supervision
- Client-focused approach with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Efficient report-writing skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy of own work
