Overview
As the Innovation Manager, New Product Development, you will lead the creation of new, market‑driven solutions for Mastercard’s Commercial and New Payment Flows (CNPF) portfolio. You’ll translate customer insights and product concepts into viable commercial products that grow business and enhance the value of Mastercard’s Foundry program.
Responsibilities
- Help drive the generation and analysis of new concepts and solutions for CNPF, interfacing with internal product teams, customers, and end‑users.
- Own the development of concepts into commercial products, from concept through pilot, incubation and commercialization, leveraging Foundry Engineering, Customer Research, and Experience Design teams.
- Develop and own product roadmaps, pilot launch plans and business cases throughout the product development process.
- Build relationships across the Global Products teams and Foundry teams to support the delivery of new products.
- Support the ideation and development of a strong pipeline of Foundry projects leveraging internal and external relationships.
- Use a data‑driven approach to assess market opportunities and build business cases, incorporating accurate representations of future revenue and expense bases.
Qualifications
- Experience in developing and commercializing new products.
- Understanding of product development concepts and practices across the product development life cycle.
- Experience overseeing rapid prototyping for global/multi‑region products.
- Demonstrated success in generating, structuring, evaluating, and promoting innovative ideas within an organization.
- Ability to build relationships and deliver results with global, multi‑cultural, and remote project teams.
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate and simplify complex concepts.
- Strong interest and understanding of the payments industry and/or experience working in a B2B2C ecosystem.
