What You’ll Do
As aManager BCG Vantageon our Topic Activation pathwithinBCG’sTechnology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT)Practice Area, you will collaborate and partner in a growing global team, providingindustryexpertiseand insights. You will work together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets,analysis and expert advisory. Youllserve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.
Additionally, as aManager BCG Vantageyou will drive development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support thedata centers and AI infrastructurebusiness, serving as an active contributor to commercialization efforts for thetopic/sector, whilst working with business leaders to drive proposals & go-to-market efforts. As aManager BCG Vantage, you may linemanagea team of juniorcolleagues, taking responsibility for their goal setting, ongoingfeedbackand career development support.
Youll workwith our standing global team that builds and stewards BCGs understanding of the physical backbone of AI data center facilities, semiconductors, AI hardware, cooling, power, and more as well as the economics of supply chain that underpin the largest infrastructure buildout in generations.Youlladvance our understanding and make it available tothe BCG project teams and clients that are shaping the future of data centers,compute, and AI infrastructure.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
Solving complex client problems through relevant analytical approaches and customized solutionsacross the data center and AI infrastructure stack
Driving development and maintenance of knowledge assetse.g.toolsand materials coveringtheAI economics/tokenomics and materials covering the full AI infrastructure stack, based on different client contexts
Communicating with senior stakeholders,demonstratingthe ability to engage your audience effectively
Managing a portfolio of projects, with strong awareness of business priorities and commercial impact
Training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members
Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment
What You’ll Bring
3+ years consulting experience indata centers, semiconductors, or related hardwarerequired; candidates with consulting experience preferred
In lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum industry experiencerequired; 6-10+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s Degreerequired(advanced degree preferred)
Expertiseintopics related to data centers, such as AI hardware, supply chain / procurement, operations, or infrastructure investment
Fluency in English;other languageshelpful but notrequired
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
