Key Account Manager – Premium Interior Products

Field Based – South Wales & South West

Territory: South Wales & South West (CF, SA, NP, GL, WR, BS, BA)

Package: Up to £50,000 basic + uncapped bonus (£75,000-£90,000 realistic OTE) + choice of company car + private healthcare + market-leading pension options

The Role

  • This is a field-based / home-based account management role with a leading interiors manufacturer operating at the premium end of the market.
  • You will manage a well-established portfolio of independent retail partners across South Wales and the South West, focusing on account development, showroom support, and driving incremental revenue growth within existing relationships.
  • The territory benefits from strong brand presence, long-standing customer relationships, and a loyal retail customer base.
  • Using a consultative approach, you will work closely with retailers to support showroom presentation, product positioning, merchandising, and overall brand development.
  • This is a relationship-led role suited to a polished and commercially astute sales professional with experience selling premium products into retail environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing an established retail account base
  • Driving revenue growth within existing customers
  • Supporting showroom displays, merchandising, and product positioning
  • Increasing brand visibility and market share within partner showrooms
  • Negotiating POS opportunities and increasing in-store product footprint
  • Building long-term relationships with retail decision-makers

The Candidate

We are looking for a consultative and commercially driven sales professional with experience managing retailers, showrooms, or distributor accounts.

Experience within interiors, KBB, bathrooms, flooring, surfaces, or other design-led building products would be highly advantageous. Candidates selling premium commercial products into retail environments will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have field sales and account management experience
  • Be confident managing retail or distributor relationships
  • Understand premium branded and design-led products
  • Be commercially astute with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Possess strong negotiation skills
  • Understand how to position and grow a premium brand
  • Be highly organised and self-motivated

Package

• £47,000-£50,000 basic salary
