What you’ll be doing:
- Manage a wide range of employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, flexible working requests and probation reviews.
- Becoming the go-to HR expert, providing practical advice and coaching managers through people challenges.
- Keeping HR policies fresh, compliant and aligned with best practice.
- Driving employee engagement initiatives and supporting the annual staff survey.
- Managing employee benefits and helping create a positive workplace culture.
- Supporting recruitment activities and ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.
- Producing insightful HR reports and analysing trends to help shape business decisions.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and systems.
- Working closely with payroll to ensure employee changes are processed smoothly.
- Staying ahead of changes in employment legislation and sharing your knowledge with the wider business.
What you’ll bring:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role
- Confidence managing a wide variety of employee relations cases from start to finish
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships
- A proactive, positive attitude with exceptional organisation skills
