Early Years Teacher
Location: Muddy Boots Nursery, Acomb YO24 3HP. Pay: £14.05 – £14.45 per hour (age 21+).
Full-time (4-day week)
About The Role
As a Learning Lead at Muddy Boots you will:
- Provide high standards of quality teaching within the preschool, including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
- Inspire the preschool team to plan appropriately for children, using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance.
- Lead on ‘School Readiness’ teaching for older preschool children, as well as the Early Talk Boost programme.
- Effectively manage EYPP funding.
- Support the development of good practice concerning Special Educational Needs & Disabilities and Inclusion.
- Be a fantastic role model for outstanding interactions and learning in preschool.
- Plan and carry out small group activities around communication, maths, phonics and PSED with the oldest children in our preschool room.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A relevant Early Years qualification.
- Over 1 year of experience working in an Early Years/Nursery setting (essential).
- Over 1 year of experience working in a childcare environment (preferred).
