Refrigeration Engineer

The Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of production equipment within the FMCG industry. Based in Bradford, this permanent role requires a hands‑on approach and a focus on maintaining high standards of operational efficiency.

Description

Duties will include however not be limited to;

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery – blast freezers and air conditioning maintenance
• Carrying out reactive and planned refrigeration maintenance
• Diagnosing faults and identifying non repairable issues
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards during all maintenance activities.
• Collaborating with the production team to schedule and prioritise maintenance tasks.
• Recommending replacements and repair solutions where required
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently

Profile

• Previous experience in refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• F-Gas certification – desirable

Job Offer

Working hours are Monday to Friday – 6am – 5pm

Annual salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000
