Project Manager
New Build Residential – Social Housing, Berkshire
Up to £70,000 plus package.
We are currently working with a tier one contractor in their search for an experienced Project Manager to manage new build residential projects in Berkshire. The project portfolio consists of small developments, ranging from 1-10 units at a time, primarily traditional build. You will manage them from pre‑construction stage through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Ensure P&L, budgets and deadlines are met.
- Maintain the highest standard of service and quality, implement cost control and create CPP & programming of works and budgeting.
- Implement strong health & safety practices across all projects.
- Lead the direct team, including item management and subcontractors.
- Report directly to the Operations Manager and support contract success.
Ideal Candidate
- Extensive building knowledge and experience managing traditional build projects from pre‑construction through to completion.
- Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and solving problems in complex situations.
- Strong knowledge of BSR and building safety acts, with strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to create a strong working environment where everyone works as a team to achieve targets and build relationships with clients and team members.
- Valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and asbestos awareness certifications.
