Your Impact
As the Sales Engineering Manager for UK Enterprise, based in our London office, you will play a key leadership role in building and scaling our presence across the region. You will lead a team of Sales Engineers supporting a growing and strategically important market segment, ensuring they are equipped to deliver compelling, value-driven solutions to prospective customers. You will partner closely with regional sales leadership to drive growth, develop talent, and establish HiBob as a trusted partner for Enterprise organisations in the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop talent: build, coach, and manage a high‑performing team of Sales Engineers, supporting their professional growth and ensuring they consistently perform at a high level.
- Drive regional success: partner with sales leadership across the regions to align on strategy, support pipeline growth, and contribute directly to revenue outcomes.
- Foster cross‑functional collaboration: work closely with Product, Marketing, Professional Services, and Engineering to ensure alignment and continuous feedback loops from the field.
- Build and scale the team: recruit and onboard top Sales Engineering talent, with a focus on Enterprise SaaS expertise and cultural alignment.
- Enable high‑quality execution: ensure your team delivers impactful product demonstrations, technical discovery, and solution positioning that clearly articulate HiBob’s value.
- Support strategic deals: act as an escalation point for complex opportunities, providing hands‑on support in key deals and helping move them forward effectively.
- Develop enablement programmes: partner with internal stakeholders to design and deliver enablement initiatives that strengthen product knowledge, technical skills, and sales effectiveness.
- Champion a strong team culture: create a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performance environment aligned with HiBob’s values.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and developing Sales Engineering or pre‑sales teams in a SaaS environment.
- Strong track record of hiring, coaching, and scaling high‑performing teams.
- Experience supporting enterprise cycles, ideally across the UK and Ireland.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience partnering cross‑functionally and with senior stakeholders.
- A people‑first leadership approach, with a focus on development, engagement, and performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Nice to have: experience with HR SaaS technology.
